The newest addition to the Small Dog family is actually a dog! Princess Shortcake Maggie was recently adopted from the North Country Animal League (a local no-kill shelter) by Joyce Frederick.
Shortcake Maggie is an 8-year old Pomeranian, who is the perfect small dog. In fact, she looks a lot like our original founding dog, Imelda (the model for the Small Dog logo) albeit, a younger version.
Mother and dog are doing just fine after the laborious drive back from the shelter.
