MacBook Pros also updated!
Along with the introduction of the MacBook, Apple has updated the MacBook Pro line. The new MacBook Pros are faster:
$1,999 for the 15.4” 2.0Ghz Core Duo
$2499 for the 15.4” 2.16Ghz Core Duo
$2,799 for the 17” 2.16Ghz Core Duo
Also, it’s possible to special order a MacBook Pro with a “glossy screen,” at no additional charge. The glossy screen allows you to view graphics, photos, and videos with greater color saturation. This probably isn’t great for graphics professionals, as it may give an overly saturated view of work in process. However, for the rest of us it sounds intriguing.
