Mail Unread Status

This little application just sits up in your menu bar and shows you how many unread emails you have. It works with the Apple Mail program included in every 10.3.x – 10.4.x system.

You can choose which mail boxes it checks through to see if there’s any unread mail. It also allows you to choose the little icon that sits in the menu bar and how often to check for unread messages.

This is a free piece of software, and you may download it from thr QueueSoft website.

There is one thing I didn’t like and it shows how many unread messages there are. I am not sure why I didn’t like it, but I would just prefer it to show the little red dot indicating there was an unread message. Other then that, this little application is pretty cool!
