Apple Mighty Mouse Woes

For some reason the scroll down on my Mighty Mouse just decided to stop functioning. The scroll up and sideways worked just fine. It didn’t matter what application I was using either. It was really beginning to drive me nuts!

Searching the Internet I found several sites with people reporting similar issues. A few people had to return the mouse to a retailer but one of the tips suggested worked like a charm for me.

“Take a can of compressed air, hold the ball down, and blow into the mouse”.

I want to note that I held the tip of the nozzle about an inch and a half away from the Mighty Mouse ball, and I used 2 short blasts of air. Happily, now you would know never know that the mouse ball was temporarily unable to scroll downwards.
