Blizzard! It's A Vermont State Holiday!

We’re expected to get over 30” of snow in the next twenty-four hours. A little sleet and freezing rain might be mixed in with the snow. Schools are canceled straight through Friday, State buildings are closing down, and severe weather advisories are playing on the radio every several minutes. Winds are expected to pick up by early afternoon, giving us true whiteout blizzard conditions. Driving after dark is especially discouraged.

Needless to say, Small Dog is likely to be operating with a reduced staff today. Also, UPS and FedEX shipments may be delayed due to the severe weather, both today and tomorrow.

Batten down the hatches, wax your snowboard, sharpen your skis – it’s a Vermont State holiday!
