About Daylight Saving Time changes in 2007
We spring forward with Daylight Saving Time (DST) this weekend, two weeks earlier than usual. The national laws dictating DST changed last year, AFTER most Macs were built. Thus, some Macs won’t have up-to-date software programed to anticipate the change. This could cause problems for many apps – especially scheduling apps such as iCal.
As of January 8, 2007, Apple has provided software updates for Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and later based on worldwide time zone information available. To make sure that your clock maintains the proper time, simply install the updates shown for your computer in Software Update.
