Yours To Keep… the Famous Small Dogs!

Piles of Small Dogs!

Before I started working at Small Dog, I was a customer. As it happened, when I moved to Vermont from New York, my eMac wasn’t working. After the move, I explored the area, and I found that Small Dog Electronics was only about 10 minutes from my house. I immediately lugged the freakishly heavy eMac into the car and down to the store to be fixed.

While I was there, I started admiring the new iMacs, I was quickly able to convince myself to buy a new 17” flat screen iMac. This way I could put the eMac (once it was fixed) downstairs in the den for the kids, which meant I wouldn’t have to lug the aforementioned freakishly heavy eMac back up the stairs. Win – Win.

I think it was Eric who rang up the sale, and then said “And here are your Small Dogs,” as he handed me the pack of small dogs. Well, I just stared down at them in utter disbelief. I thought, “Did he really just give me small dogs? How cool is that? Are these free?” He must have seen the look on my face because he said, “Yeah, they’re cool,” to which I replied, “Awesome!”

When I got home, Nellson asked how everything went. I said that it went well; I dropped off the eMac for repair, subsequently bought an iMac, and the best part was that they gave me these small dogs! I then showed him the packet. Cool as they were, I think what he said next was, “You bought an iMac?”

I mention all that for this reason: I am amazed about how many customer returns come back with the small dogs we ship. I have a pile of them on my desk… people, those are yours free and clear! Think of them like that potato peeler that you get when you buy the knife that can either cut tomatoes or aluminum cans: they are yours to keep even if you are not completely satisfied.

Here at Small Dog, we always want you to love your purchase, so even if it turns out that it didn’t work out the first time, we at least want you to have those souvenirs!
