It's Snowing, Burlington Edition!

First Snow in Burlington!

To followup on Jimmy’s recent post about snow in the Waitsfield area, I’d like to note that it’s now snowing in the greater Burlington area!
In fact, the snow has been so plentiful (relatively speaking) over the last two weeks that Small Dog’s local ski resort, Sugarbush, opened Saturday the 17th of November instead of waiting until their purposed grand opening on Thanksgiving day. Here’s a shot from opening day (please excuse the poor camera-phone quality).

While on the topic of Winter weather, don’t forget to protect your electronics from the inevitable power surges which often occur when heavy snow brings trees down across power lines.
