Small Dog Electronics has upgraded our Facebook presence with an all-new Facebook page. We’re going to have fun with our Facebook page and use it to run contests, promos, and surprise special offers for all of our Fans.

For example, we’ll be choosing a Fan at random every month to receive a goodie bag of fun and useful Small Dog and Mac-related toys.

If you’re not on Facebook, consider signing up (whether you become a fan of Small Dog or not.) Facebook is “an online directory that connects people through social networks.” I personally love using Facebook to keep in touch with far-flung friends, colleagues, and relatives. Sometimes it’s more fun to say hi on Facebook than via email or IM.

Almost everyone at Small Dog Electronics has a personal Facebook page, with many of us having pages for more than three years (back when Facebook was for college students only). Even our CEO, Don Mayer has a Facebook page. You can sign up for Facebook right on Small Dog’s Page, which is here:

  • iPad Tricorder + Happy Birthday Carl!

    Today is our amazing technician Carl Grasso’s birthday. Carl is great guy and an avowed sci fi fan. He has one of the coolest iPad mods I’ve seen. He took a black Verso case and affixed the classic (and classy looking) Star Fleet insignia from Star Trek on the outside. On the inside, he’s running an, er, modified version of the iPad that looks like a Star Trek Tricorder. Images below.
