Create Word Art with Wordle!

Word Art from Wordle

I came across the Wordle website recently, and loved the design. The concept is that you input text into the website, and it generates a ‘cloud’ of text in different designs, fonts and colors. You can hit the “randomize” button to refresh until you find one you like. A designer’s dream…!

I entered the keywords from our blog, and that yielded the best results; when a word is repeated (as “Apple” “Mac” “iPod” and “Smalldog.com” were), they appear larger. Some ideas to try: paste in your favorite article or lyrics to your favorite song (all credited properly, of course), and see what it looks like—the words will take on a whoel new meaning!

Try it for yourself at wordle.net!
