We hope that you and your family and friends are enjoying the dog days of summer. The term “Dog Days” is often used to describe the hot and humid days that occur between July and early September, and from what “Wikipedia told me,”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_days_of_summer this expression has existed since the days of the ancient Greeks and Romans.

“Dog Days” have a special significance to the many of us at Small Dog Electronics who are dog owners and who take advantage of these warm days to spend quality time outside with our best friends. It is peak frisbee playing and river swimming season across the Green Mountain State–just ask my Australian Cattle Dog Waylon.


Likewise, this also signifies the end of summer and the back to school season. We refer to this time as “Mac To School,” as August is one of our busiest months of Mac sales. In some exciting news, on Saturday August 22, the State of Vermont will be participating in a Tax Free Holiday where items valued at less than $2,000 will be tax exempt!
