8 Core Xserve: Built To Last

I am pleased to report that one of our production servers has been running non-stop since the first time we turned it on, with an uptime of 557 1/2 days!

Back on March 5, 2008, we fired up our newest server at the time to serve mysql for the smalldog.com website. As I recall, it took about 2-3 hours to enable mysql and transfer the databases over.

As of today, the server has been up ever since.

Thanks, Apple, for making something that just works!

We must all come together in supporting the Global Fund and the fight against AIDS. …I applaud (RED) and its partners for their vision and commitment.
