Leonid Meteor Shower Tonight!

Don’t forget that the Leonid Meteor shower reaches peak tonight! Between 1:00AM and 4:00AM, 30 – 50 meteors per hour will light up the night sky. Bring your Mac with you while you’re outside and learn some stars and constellations with the FREE, excellent Stellarium software. This turns your computer into an easy-to-use planetarium. Click here to read more and download Stellarium.

You can also use your iPhone to learn stars, constellations, and astronomy in general. There are several apps designed for this task; my current favorite is SkyVoyager.
