DHARMA Initiative's Apple-II to be Auctioned

Yes that’s right, now you can enter 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 every 108 minutes. That is, assuming you’re the lucky bidder. The Apple-II featured prominently in season two of ABC’s hit show Lost is being put up for auction according to MacStories. The Los Angeles based auctioneer Profiles in History is set to put the item on the block sometime next month. The Apple-II Plus, Disk II floppy drive, and accompanying Apple-III monitor are all emblazoned with the DHARMA Initiative and Swan Station logos. While a starting bid has not been disclosed, its a safe bet that this iconic prop will not go cheap. While the auction page does not mention if the system is functioning, bidders may not want to risk booting up the machine for fear of the mysterious consequences. If you do take the chance and let the counter hit zero, just remember that Desmond is your constant.
