MobileMe Gallery Gains Retina Display and iPad Support

Complementing the recent update to their Remote app, Apple today released an update to another of their 1st party apps. MobileMe Gallery has been updated to support the Retina display of the iPhone 4 and forth gen. iPod touch. Additionally, the app now natively supports the iPad’s larger 9.7-in display, and multi-tasking under iOS4. A great way to share and download photos, a limitation of the app in the past was that it required a MobileMe subscription. Listening to user feedback, Apple has lifted this restriction enabling non-subscribers to view and download from friends’ galleries.
