Google Incorporated, a small internet start-up located just 9.1 miles from Apple headquarters in California, has released their annual report on the fastest rising and falling terms that have been entered on their search engine website.

The report entitled Zeitgeist 2010: How the World Searched has declared that “ipad” is the fastest rising search term in the United States and that “iphone 4” is the third fastest. Worldwide, “ipad” comes in at number two in the general category, and “ipad” and “iphone 4” are number one and two in the Consumer Electronics category. The search term that topped the worldwide general list is “chatroulette”, which is a Russia-based website that pairs random strangers from around the world together for video chats.
