Felis Catus and the iPad

As one of the few people here at Small Dog that has only feline companions, I feel that it is my obligation to bring all of the cat-related news to our loyal readers. Today’s bulletin concerns the latest and greatest cat toy: the Apple iPad. Several developers have created apps specifically tailored to entertain cats. These apps include Game for Cats, App for Cats, Cat Game, Cat Toy, Cat Toys, and Cat Toy!. All of these are some variation of a dot, bug, or other icon that moves around the screen for the cat to attack. However, in order for an app to entertain both cats (and their human companions), it does not have to be designed for cats. This video, for example, shows an app that is amusing for both and demonstrates a whole new meaning for the term “cat scratch.”
