Small Dog Gift Giving Guide: Kerry's Holiday Suggestions for Kids

College-aged daughter:

My oldest is off studying at SCAD and loving dorm life and the warm weather. She and her friends like to get together and stay up all night watching Disney movies (I know, I don’t believe it either). The perfect gift for her this year would be an Apple TV for renting movies from iTunes and also streaming on Netflix.

An iPod nano with the watchband accessory would be the just the thing for helping get her to class on time and allow her to listen to her own tunes while taking the bus to and from locations. Urbanears Headphones would complete the package.

The adorable Hello Kitty flash drive will enable her to share files with friends easily. And what college student doesn’t need a coffee mug…?

High-school-aged daughter:

My high schooler is an avid soccer player and always on the go with the team and friends. Since she already has a cellphone (but not an iPhone) having the iPod touch, protected by the Hammerhead Slider case, would make it possible for her to use FaceTime to chat with friends. And the Game Center would help keep her busy on those long drives to tournaments. Earbuds are a must because we just don’t see eye to eye on what good music is.

She’s also a budding photography hound. Even though the camera on the iPod touch is fantastic, there is nothing like having an actual camera in your hands. And with 3 Step Sharing on the Kodak, she can instantly upload those videos of her dad and uncle competing at Just Dance to Facebook.

Younger son:

My youngest has turned into a bit of a music nut and listens to everything from the Muppets to LMFAO (no judgements please). Having an iPod shuffle would allow him to listen to his favorite songs over and over in the car, without making everyone else crazy. The Griffin MyPhones would let him rock out to his heart’s content, while we can be sure he won’t be damaging his hearing.
