I bought a bunch of straw to mulch the garden and I think that is on my schedule for this coming weekend. Something ate my bean plants, so I have to replant those. I have a huge Arctic Kiwi plant in my yard that is gigantic and beautiful, but it only gives me fruit once every 5 years or so. Well, this is the year and the plant is covered with kiwis. Now, these are not the Hawaiian kiwis you find in the grocery store—these are grape-sized kiwi fruit with a similar taste. We should be harvesting kiwis in Vermont in about a month!
