Goodbye to One of Our Own
As you may have heard, we had to make the difficult decision to close our Manchester, NH location last month. After almost four years in the Mall of New Hampshire, it became a reality that the mall life was not for us. (Or, as we say, Small Dog is not a Mall Dog…)
We opened that store in October 2010 with high expectations for the area, widely seen as a destination for Boston-area dwellers. We ultimately found that we couldn’t connect with our customers in the way that we wanted to (and were used to) in a mall setting, but we tried many different things to reach potential customers over the years.
Our Outside Sales rep, Dana Flint, has stayed on to work with businesses that need one of the many solutions that Small Dog can provide, and his department won’t skip a beat. For retail customers, we encourage you to shop (tax-free, as always) at Smalldog.com or take a scenic drive up to one of our Vermont locations (or take a vacation to Key West, FL!).
We want to thank our Manchester (and surrounding) customers for your support over the years — it has been a pleasure getting to know you, and we are keeping our options open for a return to the area in the future.
