KB Covers Final Cut Pro Review

by Davin@Smalldog.com (Posted by Ed)

Being in the video editing industry I use Final Cut a fair amount, I also don’t have a lot of desk space to work with so I’d rather not get an external keyboard. I recently picked up the Final Cut keyboard cover and it has all the hot keys printed right on the mat. This is super handy because anyone who’s done professional editing knows that time is money and you don’t want to spend all your time dragging the mouse around the screen, its much easier (and faster!) if you can just press a key on the keyboard to execute a function. Its a nice black cover with the colors for different keyboard short cuts so its even easy to tell what kind of actions are where. I’ve also noticed, since I started using the cover, that there has been a lot of dust build up. Not really a lot, but enough so that you’d notice it. I’m thinking: it’s a good thing I have that cover on there or else all that dust and such would be underneath my keys strangling my computer with evil dust bunnies…
