How Many Headphone Choices are Too Many?

Being on the purchasing team here at Small Dog Electronics requires that I routinely review the stock status, current pricing, and evaluate demand for literally thousands of products.

One category that’s easy to become overwhelmed with is iPod Accessories, and more specifically, Headphones. This morning, when I searched with the keyword “headphones,” I counted nearly 100 different listings within our inventory system.

We have most of the major brands, and a few not-so-well-known that are just as good, or are at the very least at the right price point for that bargain hunter out there.

Small Dog is proud to carry Apple-branded headphones as well as Sony, Skullcandy, Shure, Koss, iFrogz, H20, Sennheiser, Kensington, MacAlly, Griffin, and M-Audio (in no particular order).

It seems that ever since Sony made portable audio enjoyment mainstream with the success of the Walkman, that consumers have come to expect choices in the headphones they buy.
