Dear Friends,

Spring is officially here—I put my summer tires back on my car and I can actually drive it up and down Prickly Mountain. I told Kerry that we can get the carpets cleaned here in the office when I can drive the motorcycle with the sidecar down the mountain, so that should be soon!

Our 3rd Annual eWaste Recycling Event is tomorrow and we have been fielding a lot of calls and getting the word out to the community. This has become a noted local event and we expect more ewaste than any other year. Both local Vermont businesses as well as national businesses have joined us in sponsoring this important event. We have tons of volunteers and lots of trucks and a new recycling partner, WeRecycle!, who has signed the e-Stewards pledge.

RapCaps are here! The latest product from Chill Pill Audio is here! These tiny microphones provide out-of-the-box voice recording for the current generation of iPod nano and 120GB iPod classic. Simply plug it in and start recording with the built-in voice recording software. For the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, you will need to download an app from the Apple App store such as Griffin iTalk (free). Record memos, hippos or that important lecture and then listen or transfer to iTunes. Best of all we have them in multiple colors, too!

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, I recommend the MLB application from the App Store. This is a great $9.99 application if you love baseball. In addition to all the scores and standings, you can listen to live audio broadcasts of any game. Not only that, but you can listen to the home or away team broadcast. For me that means I’ll be listening to Pat Hughes and Ron Santo!
