Boot Camp in the Retail Store

First it was the OnMac.net hack, now it’s up with Apple’s official Boot Camp! Stop by and see it in our Retail Showroom (don’t worry, it’s right in front of the door so you won’t miss it… unless you’re getting used to the sight).

I was able to get a few minutes to set it up yesterday afternoon and answered questions while a soon-to-be switcher watched in awe. It worked flawlessly, as you can see:

Don had already set it up on his MacBook Pro a while Jon was doing troubleshooting for me so I knew it’d work, but I had to try it out for myself again. I’m a little hesitant to put it on my MacBook Pro as I really don’t need to waste the space on my drive.

To continue the Boot Camp roundup:

And last, but not least, read engadget’s funny Switched On: Boot Camp – The Miffing Manual (no, that’s not a typo).

Now for your part: what headline would you like to see over the Mac mini Core Duo running Windows XP Pro in our Retail Showroom?

Also, should we do a test to see how long it takes for it to get laden with spyware, adware, viruses, etc.?
