Google Spreadsheets

Google has a new cool product out, and it looks like they may have a full office suite soon! With Writely.com and now an online spreadsheet application dubbed ‘Google Spreadsheets’, users will be able to create full-blown spreadsheets!

Users can share spreadsheets they’ve created between their friends and family, they can collaborate and edit them in real-time with other people, you can edit them from anywhere in the world so long as you have a web browser and an internet connection, and you can even export them as multiple formats!

Currently Google Spreadsheets is not open to the public but you can sign up and Google will invite you into the private beta.

This new service really looks interesting and I think it’s Google’s next step in taking a fully featured office suite off your desktop computer and putting it on the web where you can access it anytime and anywhere!
