Where are my Nike iPod Shoes?

According to Apple, the latest iTunes update, to iTunes 6.0.5, ”…allows you to sync your Nike + iPod workout data to nikeplus.com, where you can easily track your progress, set training goals, challenge others, and much more.” At this point, you really can’t see any Nike content in iTunes, except for a couple of new help topics. It’s possible Nike content will be available when the shoes actually start shipping.

I pre-ordered a pair of the red and black Nike + shoes the day they were announced. At that point, Nike said they would ship by July 13. Nikeplus.com will have new content and features on July 14. That’s in two weeks. Two long weeks, where I have to walk around with lame non-iPod integrated shoes. Two long, long weeks, where I won’t know exactly how far and how fast I’ve ran or walked in my lame non-iPod integrated shoes.
