“A quick note on your follow-up on phone extensions in this week’s newsletter — the Mac can dial extensions too, just a little differently.
To keep my contact info the same on my Mac and my iOS devices, whenever there’s a phone extension I just enter two commas and the extension after the phone number, and that does the trick for most telephone systems. (There are a few that require a 3-comma pause.)
This actually works across platforms, and I’ve used it for 30 years now, starting with Sidekick’s auto-dialer!”
