Another very busy day! Right now I am sitting in Microsoft’s blogging booth, uploading a new batch of photos to our Flickr page. There about 15 other bloggers here, including some with names I recognize. It’s great that Microsoft provides this service. People with laptops can connect via fast ethernet connections, and there are several Intel iMacs for people who are laptopless, or simply want to conserve battery power.
Sitting here, I feel like I am at a circus – there is bumping music, loudspeakers, people clapping, lots of murmuring crowds, sound effects, and every now and then a shout or whistle.
There is so much impressive technology and software here, it’s hard to know where to begin talking about it. Off the top of my head, I am very impressed with Apple’s two huge classrooms (showing iPhone and Apple TV demos), Adobe’s booth with constant demos of Acrobat, After Effects, and Photoshop (all running blazingly fast on Intel Macs), and the great range of fun and useful consumer-oriented Mac software on display.
I like the look of Adobe’s Sound Room audio-editing software – easy to use and fairly full featured. I’m going to download the beta version later tonight.
