It’s Jan writing for Don this week while he’s out of town. We’re still waiting for our first big snowfall here in the Valley, but it’s probably a good thing the ground is clear since solar trackers are being installed in the field alongside our warehouse. We broke ground this past Monday, and if the weather holds, we should be up and running within a few days.
This installation will allow us to generate all the power for our South Burlington store and some for our Waitsfield headquarters as well. We are all extremely excited about this new chapter in our continued effort to be as energy efficient as possible while saving our natural resources.
With the holiday season in full swing, we’re thankful that our stores have been filled with customers and that our folks taking phone orders have been working with so many of you.
