AirPod Max!$$$

Apple introduced the ultimate AirPods today with the AirPods Max.   The over-the-ears headset features astounding high-fidelity audio, active noise cancellation, spatial audio that produces theater-like sound and a stunning design.  The headpiece is mesh to distribute the pressure and the stainless steel frame I wrapped to be soft to the touch. Telescoping arms extend and stay where you set them while the annodized aluminum cups feature a mechanism that allows each cup to rotate independently and balance pressure.

They feature a Digital Crown similar to an Apple Watch that controls volume, skip between tracks, answer your phone and activate Siri.  The AirPods Max feature an Apple-designed H1 chip in each cup combined with Apple’s custom acoustic design and advanced software.  AirPods Max us computational audio to create a breakthrough audio experience.  By tapping into each of the H1 chips’s audio cores, AirPods Max helps to block outside noise, adapts audio to the fit and seal of your ear cushions and makes movie scenes sound like you are in the picture!

They come in 5 colors and have a unique carrying case, too.

At $549 these are not for everyone but may become the new headphone status symbol.  They are as easy to set up as AirPods but have some other interesting features.  They know when they are on your head so when you take them off they will pause audio and it will pick up the beat when you put them back on.  They will announce your messages and Siri is always there for you just by saying “Hey Siri”.  The battery allows for 20 hours of listening, talking or movie watching and with a Lightning connector you can quick charge them for 5 minutes to get 1.5 hours of listening in case they quit on you during that movie.

AirPods Max are definitely not for everyone but the quality is obvious and I expect we will see some famous folks sporting AirPods Max soon.
