Simplifying Life With iPad

As popular as iPads have become, there is still a large number of people who wonder how or why they’d use one. The iPad is an incredibly powerful mobile device that isn’t just for CEOs, members of Congress or the tech elite—it’s for everyone!

Many customers comment that their needs are too basic to make the iPad a worthwhile investment or something they would get significant use out of. I encourage those new to the device to think outside the box, and see how iPad can simplify their lives.

Personally, I use my iPad for what many consider everyday basic needs. I access email, keep up with Facebook and stream movies on Netflix. However, my favorite uses are apps and functions that make everyday tasks easier. I am the mother of two children (one five months and one five years) so you can imagine I get pulled in multiple directions all the time! I sync my calendars to my iPad so I can easily keep up with where I need to be each day.

I also use my iPad to make grocery shopping easier with GroceryIQ. This time saving app enables me to load store specific shopping lists that can be updated on-the-go. These updates even sync to my iPhone, which is helpful if I don’t have my iPad with me. The app also allows me to update my list to show the items I’ve picked up, and even lets me list the price of items to get an estimate of what the trip will cost. The app also includes links to printable coupons and more! This app has really helped save me time and money from week to week, and is a huge advantage in an already cramped schedule. While GroceryIQ is great, the benefits of the iPad definitely don’t stop there.

In the year and a half since the iPad first hit the market, it’s been made clear that the possibilities are just about endless for how users of all types can utilize this amazing device. iPads are popping up in restaurants, schools and even therapy programs for children. Many have found the iPad helps to engage both children and adults, and can help everything from fine motor skills, to communicating, and simply engaging in conversations.

If you’re someone who’s unsure of how iPad can benefit you, give it a try the next time you stop into one of our stores. You’ll likely discover, like so many of us, that once you start using the iPad you’ll be amazed at how it simplifies your life—and perhaps wonder how you ever lived without it!
