iPod + iTunes + BOB DYLAN!

Have you seen the best iPod ad ever? It features Bob Dylan playing a tune from his new album, “Modern Times.” I just love this ad. I just finished reading “Chronicles, Vol. 1,” which I enjoyed immensely – and, of course, I love Dylan’s music.

The new album, Modern Times, sounds like it will be another brilliant album, continuing in the vein of the last two albums – Love & Theft, and Time out of Mind.

Or, for you Dylan fanatics, you can buy The Collection – each and every live and studio album Dylan has ever released, from 1962’s Bob Dylan all the way to Modern Times – plus 42 rare tracks. That’s 773 tracks, plus a 100-page booklet. Only available via the iTunes music store, for $199. Click here to launch iTunes for preview and purchase.

Steve Jobs is a huge Dylan fan – he considers Dylan to be one of the great American geniuses. On the launch of Modern Times & The Collection, Jobs said “Bob Dylan is one of the most respected poets and musicians of our time, and he is a personal hero of mine. Being able to offer his new album and the exclusive box set of his works on iTunes is a real thrill for us.”
