Famous MS Internet Explorer Unearthed!!

By Art@smalldog.com

In offering support to any and all Mac users, we sometimes come across those who still operate under older OS versions, and are embedded in using the software that those Macs already have on them. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer was long the standard for internet browser applications and if someone must rebuild their hard drive from scratch, reinstalling that application becomes necessary.

Having long relied on the Microsoft site for the download link to the latest Internet Explorer version, I was dismayed to find that they discontinued support altogether, and no longer offer the application on their download site.

Have no fear, C|NET to the rescue. Here is a link to the Download.com site for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 5.2.3.

This free version works with OS X machines. With a little digging on this resource site, I bet anyone could find the version for OS 9 as well.
