New .Mac Webmail

After a few weeks of teasing, Apple has finally unveiled it’s new .Mac web-based email service. It looks and functions much more like the desktop version of OS X Mail – for example, you can hold down the shift key to select multiple emails. I think the service looks great – very polished and easy to navigate. Actions are available. There is support for keyboard shortcuts, which you can see here:

Unfortunately, due to limits in current Web 2.0 technology, you can’t currently use rules like you can with OS X’s desktop Mail program.
