For figuring the lock combination you were rewarded with 3 applications and a invitation to a new piece of software that makes securing sensitive files and data easy! That application is called Safe Deposit. The other three applications were CoverSutra, Captain FTP and Trampoline.
The funny thing is I actually purchased a copy of CoverSutra the week before, I wish I had known! It’s a really neat little application that pops up some cover art from iTunes when the song changes, you can also show cover art as a little image right on your desktop. You can also tell the program to send your song information to Last.FM. I really like it!
I already use Transmit for my FTP and SFTP needs so Captain FTP wasn’t to interesting but if you’re looking for anther FTP client alternative this is one!
Trampoline didn’t really interest me at all, it just seemed like another version of the Dock, something I didn’t really need…but it did get some good reviews so it might be worthy of checking out.
I guess I was confused about how MacHeist works because they don’t do these amazing software bundles all the time, only on MAJOR heists. When I say MacHeist 6, I think it’s actually more like version 1.6. You see on version 1 they did the nice software bundle, and again on version 2 they should be doing another nifty bundle…at least you get some really cool (AND FREE or heavily discounted) software in between the major heists!!
